The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Market Research & Intelligence Division Head position: General Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize and direct market research and market intelligence activities and use findings to recommend better product and marketing strategies that will meet organizational business objectives. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and direct market research and intelligence activities. Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings to uncover potential new customers and/or emerging markets. Collect and analyze data on customer preferences and factors affecting product demands; and make recommendations for furthering business objectives. Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products. Conduct market intelligence, analyze competitors’ strategies; and report same along with recommendations. Assess customer response and satisfaction; and report same for decision making purposes. Conduct market research to profile and segment customers, to support market growth strategies, and recommend ways of attracting and retaining customers. Identify target market for sales, and recommend devises to expand market share. Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products, and customer needs and insights. Assess market conditions in local, regional, and national levels in order to target potential markets and customers. Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities; and initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the company. Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services. Study government policies in order to promote interest of company. Conduct market intelligence and make recommendations to capitalize on opportunities and to assist the company reach its business objectives Study market conditions, regulations, competitors, products, business publications and customers to direct the company decision making processes. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends through reading reports, market research, data manipulation and financial modeling and analysis. Conduct employee performance appraisal periodically. Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
